2) this shows that this is a movie poster by it shows the title in bold and it also shows the slogan
Predominantly aiming at males because in the film poster you can see that there a lot of males and there are guns and it is an action movie and through out the surveys predominantly most males than females prefer to watch action movies and in the poster it only shows 2 pictures of a female.
New Zealand Film Commission has produced  a hand full of movies and they were mainly dishing out movies in 1980s to 2017 (latest film). The movies genre they have produced horror, action, romance, thriller and produced movies such as Boy, Black Sheep, Dead Alive, slow west.
 The props used
in this poster are guns, gas masks communication devices and the make-up make the man on the poster look like hes been in rough place like a burning place. This is a typical action movie poster because of the guns.

3)There nothing there

4)The blue in the water aid advert, the connotations of the blue is the same colour is blue.
In this media text, the denotations are a middle age man and a young teenage boy, their not wearing anything fancy and they ain't smiling also there is a bold text. The connotations of the middle aged man looking like hes about to do something serous suggesting hes about hes living a dangerous life, the connotations of the young suggests he living the same life as the middle aged man. The bold text disrupt the background to let you know what TV series this is. The TV company wants you know that the TV series is called "Top Boy Summerhouse". The boy is wearing a hoodie and a puffer jacket which suggests that he's going to something bad (in this day and age of london)
