Dashawn, I am incredibly impressed by your work ethic in and out of the classroom! Not only are your contributions great, you are completing work to a very good standard and you’re keeping up with the heavy workload on your blog! Well done and keep this up in the new year.  
WWW:
·         Detailed explanation of advantages and disadvantages that the internet has had on the three different media industries.
·         Great use of media terminology – streaming, new digital world, industry, piracy, citizen journalism.
EBI:
·         There are still some SPAG issues.
·         You should add real like examples of these advantages and disadvantages, e.g. rise of the bedroom producers (Justin Bieber on YouTube), decline in popularity of hard copies of movies and CDs (closing of Blockbuster and fewer HMV stores).
LR:
·         Correct any SPAG issues.
·         Try and incorporate more media terminology/sophisticated vocab wherever possible – decline, accessible, on demand, profits, etc.
·         Your conclusion should not be your introduction copied and pasted. Your conclusion needs to be a summary of your ideas so should be worded differently to your introduction.

My strongest paragraph is the film and TV industry because I had a lot to say.

I would say my weakest paragraph is my conclusion because It was the same as my introduction.


5) How can you improve your extended writing in GCSE Media Studies in future?
I can improve my extended writing in media GCSE media studies in future by using a range of media term words and improve on my grammar.


6) Write ONE thing you have learned about the internet, audience and industry from completing this essay.
I have learnt that websites such as 123 movies and putlcoker are illegal to use because they are a piracy websites this means that people will go on these websites because they don't want to go out and buy the movie or pay to watch it at a cinema.

  Research: horror film websites 1) How do you know that the film is from the horror genre? I know that the film is from the horror genre by the following conventions: the font used, there are two children hiding what look's like a bed. their facial expression shows that the two children are scared, lights flicking on and of, At 0:43 in the trailer there is an un-identified creature's hand, fast pace scene editing, paranormal activity. 2) How does the website make the audience want to watch the film?
