Setting  In Stranger Things, the setting was set in the state Indiana and the state a town called Hawkins. It was also set in a Laboratory In the town Hawkins and the connotations is that the producer's wanted to show the audience it is a SCI-FI type of TV series. Another part which was shown in the Stranger Things opening is a group of early teenagers playing game in a dim basement.
